PTS President Peter Sacco told an audience that cloud computing, virtualization, and other new technologies didn't constitute a threat to the business. He worries that chipsets that don't generate heat will eventually kill the industry.

When developments like energy-efficiency requirements, virtualization, carbon caps, and automation support business by demanding more and greater skill levels, what do you see as the long-term threat to data center designers, builders, operators, and maintenance firms?
